Day 2

So Day 2 of blogging. I am finding this very interesting. Just read through a blog (the bitchy waiter) and some of its comments and it was pretty funny. So I guess I need to come up with a theme, a direction for my blog. Sort of a common topic to blog about. I'm sure I will come up with something soon. Or I could just keep it random.

Writing was never any fun for for me nor did I have much interest it in. However, somehow I always managed to pull really good grades in English class. I used to read a lot when I was younger, I enjoyed it and excelled. But by the time Jr. High rolled around, I was way over it and actually began failing the subject. I feel... no I Know that I missed out on many good stories, especially all the different novels that we read in high school. There is much catching up to do, but in the meantime I will just write here.

I really like mosaics. So that was why I chose this image.

Welcome to Hellsmouth

This past holiday weekend at work has been pretty crazy indeed. With a full house, consisting of over 100 check ins and check outs with the phone ringing non stop, we somehow manage to schedule just 2 people on to a shift with no manger. Of course there were several issues with noise complaints, or issues with the room of which these people just want a manger... but as I said.. nowhere to be found. Long story short it was hell. So of course this had to be posted on Facebook which my coworkers found very amusing, when I explained the reference to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, she loved it even more.

First Entry

So this is my first entry. Many of my friends and family have been blogging for some time now. I considered it but was always to lazy to start one of my own. Today at work after one of my normal anecdotes from childhood, my coworker suggested I start up a blog telling all these pop culture stories of mine.

So here I am...
